How text messaging works on Rekindle — when you'll hear from a business, and how to stop.
Rekindle is a relationship-management tool used by businesses to stay in touch with their own contacts and customers. When you receive a text through Rekindle, it comes from a specific business you already have a relationship with — for example, you are their customer, you gave them your number, or you met them in person.
A business only sends you texts after you have agreed to be contacted by text — through your prior relationship, a purchase, or by giving them your number directly. Inside Rekindle, before any messages can be sent, the business must explicitly confirm that you agreed to receive texts from them. No messages are ever queued or sent to a contact until this consent is confirmed:
This will begin texting your contacts. By starting, you confirm they agreed to receive texts from you.

Message frequency varies and is conversational — not a mass broadcast.
Your phone number and messages are used only to communicate with the business you have a relationship with. They are never sold. See our Privacy Policy.
