Welcome to Rekindle. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rekindle application and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Rekindle is a relationship and follow-up tool that lets you create a digital business card, capture and organize contacts, and send follow-up messages. Features and functionality may change over time as we improve the product.
2. Your Account
- You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited, unlawful, harassing, or deceptive messages.
- Violate any applicable law, including messaging and privacy regulations.
- Upload content that infringes the rights of others or is harmful or offensive.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
4. Messaging and Consent
Rekindle lets you send text messages and emails to contacts you add. You are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required by law before contacting a person, and for honoring opt-out requests. You agree to comply with all applicable messaging laws, including the TCPA and CAN-SPAM. See our consent and opt-in policy for how consent works in the app.
5. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of the information and contacts you add to the Service. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data only to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle information.
6. Plans, Trials, and Billing
- Rekindle offers a free account and paid plans. Details are shown at sign-up and in the app.
- Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid plan only if you choose to upgrade.
- Paid subscriptions renew for the stated period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Rekindle and its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or intellectual property except as needed to use the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular business result.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rekindle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal liability.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will post the updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
